By downloading, installing, or using MetaShield: Metadata Eraser ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
MetaShield is a mobile utility application designed to inspect, strip, or modify metadata (such as EXIF, GPS, and author logs) from media and document files locally on your Android device. The application operates entirely serverless.
We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on Android devices owned or controlled by you, strictly in accordance with these Terms.
The App offers features that can modify or permanently overwrite original file metadata (Destructive Sanitization). While MetaShield is engineered to safely process files, you are solely responsible for keeping backups of your original, important files. The developer shall not be held liable for any loss of data, corrupted files, or broken formatting resulting from app operations.
All source code, UI designs, logos, graphics, and trademarks associated with MetaShield are the exclusive property of the App's developer. You may not attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or extract the source code of the App.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the metadata removal will be 100% infallible for every obscure file type or format extension invented outside of standard conventions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, privacy leaks caused by user error, or device malfunctions.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your local jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
